Driftwood at the shores of the Yenisei river, Taymyr, Siberia, Russia 1991

Huge amounts of driftwood, originating higher up the Siberian river, are piling up at the river mouth at the Kara Sea. Other driftwood from Siberian rivers, transported with the trans-arctic ice drifts westwards, can even end up in Svalbard or East-Greenland.
