Cheetahs in the shade, Kenya

The cheetah is the fastest living land animal and capable of reaching speeds up to 120 km/h. As opposed to their relative on the savanna, the leopard, cheetahs cannot climb vertical trees. The reason for this is that their claws are non-retractable which is specially developed for giving a good grip and allowing fast speed. Here, on the Kenyan savanna, a group of cheetahs have found other use of a tree, and sought refuge in its shade.
