Superb Starling (Lamprotornis superbus), Lake Naivasha
Lake Naivasha lies Northwest of Nairobi and is the only freshwater lake in Kenya's Eastern Rift Valley, spanning 139km. It is home to over 400 species of birds, among other animals. The fresh water makes it an extremely valuable resource for agriculture, fishing and floriculture, which is a major industry around the lake.
