Birdlife at Lake Nakuru, Kenya

The main threat to Lake Nakuru National Park in recent years has been contamination caused by surface run-off in the wet season, sewage and industrial pollution. Recent and drastic reduced water quality and quantity poses a major threat to the Park's ecology and could be attributed to both human and natural causes.
