Snowy- or Pale-Faced Sheathbill (Chinas alba), Antarctic Peninsula
The snowy sheathbill is an omnivore, a scavenger, and a kleptoparasite. It steals krill and fish from penguins and sometimes eats their eggs and down-covered chicks. It also eats carrion and animal faeces.
