Giraffes (Giraffa camelopardalis) and Greater kudu (Tragelaphus strepsiceros) at waterhole, Etosha National Park, Namibia

The greater kudu is a woodland antelope found throughout eastern and southern Africa. Despite occupying such widespread territory, they are sparsely populated in most areas, due to a declining habitat, deforestation and poaching. The giraffe is an African even-toed ungulate mammal, the tallest living terrestrial animal and the largest ruminant.
