Seagrass ecosystems can directly or indirectly support progress towards most of the United Nations SDGs and are essential to the delivery of targets relating to climate change and food security. The benefits from conserving and restoring seagrass meadows can help countries achieve 26 targets and indicators associated with 10 SDGs. ¨
