Black-faced cormorant (Phalacrocorax fuscescens), Tasman National Park, Tasmania

The black-faced cormorant is a medium-sized member of the cormorant family. Upperparts, including facial skin and bill, are black, with white underparts. It is endemic to coastal regions of southern Australia.
