Championing nature restoration that works for people and planet.

As Lead of GRID-Arendal's Nature Impact Area, I coordinate our work on environment & security, environmental crime, and the ocean. We know that environmental conservation and restoration works best when governments, communities, researchers, companies, and conservations work together. I am driven by the opportunity to build healthy ecosystems that support human livelihoods, health, and wellbeing.

What I Bring

My background is in international development, climate & environment, and peacebuilding. Before joining GRID-Arendal, I managed the climate research alliance between the universities of Bath, Bristol, Cardiff, and Exeter in the UK. Prior to this, I coordinated humanitarian logistics in South Sudan, Haiti, and Nepal, most recently with Médecins Sans Frontières (Doctors Without Borders). I hold a Master's degree in Environment, Development & Peace from the UN-mandated University for Peace in Costa Rica, and a BA in International Relations & Japanese from the University of Leeds, UK.

In My Own Words

″I’m passionate about finding ways to communicate complex topics in ways that touch the heart as well as the mind."″
