Barnacle Geese (Branta leucopsis), Fahretofter Koog, Germany

In the Wadden Sea, on the German coast, but also increasingly in Denmark and Norway appears a new and population of breeding barnacle geese, which derived either from the Novaya Zemlya population or the Stockholm Zoo-population, which started 1975 breeding on the Baltic Sea islands (Estonia, Finland, Denmark, and Sweden).
