Oceanic Blue Carbon - How Marine Life Can Help to Combat Climate Change

The Oceanic Blue Carbon Story Map describes the various ways that marine life contribute to carbon storage in the ocean. It also illustrates the latest science on the subject.

This Story Map was in by GRID-Arendal collaboration with Blue Climate Solutions, a project of The Ocean Foundation. It was made possible with support from Fulbright Norway, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and The Curtis & Edith Munson Foundation. The Story Map contributes to the goals of the UN Environment/Global Environment Facility Blue Forests Project and Norwegian Blue Forests Network.
