Norwegian Blue Forests Network (NBFN)
The network’s goal is to advance the blue forest approach in addressing climate change and meeting the SDGs
The Oceanic Blue Carbon Story Map describes the various ways that marine life contributes to carbon storage in the ocean. It also illustrates the latest science on the subject.
This Story Map was produced by GRID-Arendal in collaboration with Blue Climate Solutions, a project of The Ocean Foundation. It was made possible with support from Fulbright Norway, the Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Norwegian Ministry of Trade, Industry and Fisheries and The Curtis & Edith Munson Foundation. The Story Map contributes to the goals of the UN Environment/Global Environment Facility Blue Forests Project and Norwegian Blue Forests Network. The views in this Story Map do not necessarily reflect those of UN Environment, Global Environment Facility or other participating organizations of the Blue Forests Project and Norwegian Blue Forests Network.
