Report from a H2020 MSCA ITN project (IMPRESS)
I joined GRID-Arendal in 1998 and have served as Head of Communications since 2013. Leading a team of communication professionals, my role is to provide strategic leadership for communication activities to advance the organization’s mission, objectives, and programme areas.
My professional background includes more than 25 years of experience in communication, outreach, research, teaching and museum administration. Prior to joining GRID-Arendal, I was outreach coordinator for the Program for Southeast Asian Studies at Arizona State University where I led an programme that provided a comprehensive set of resources for teaching about Southeast Asia in K-12 classrooms.
I hold degrees in anthropology from the University of the Philippines and Arizona State University. I love to travel, but when I’m home I enjoy gardening, embroidery and reading.
I am currently working on a number of projects related to transboundary water systems, pollution and marine litter.
