Glacier from above

Glaciers store about 75% of the world's freshwater and cover an astonishing 15,000,000 square kilometres of the World. Flying over these spectacular natural phenomena can be disorientating, as in this photograph, there can be few reference points to give away the sheer scale of what is below.
