The creative image process-Unveiling the potential of odd stuff: Ragne Sigmond at TEDxArendal
Ragne Kristine Sigmond is a professional photographer who finds her inspiration in materials from everyday life. Where others see things for what they are, she sees new potential in materials that have run their course and are to be disposed of. She transforms those objects into innovative photographic props in the creative image process. Combining her technical skills with influences from art, she works with an increasing focus on series for exhibitions. Besides teaching photography at Media College Denmark, she is a renowned lecturer, both nationally and internationally.
In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
