As Head of Human Resources (HR) and Office Administration at GRID-Arendal, I support staff and management in all personnel matters, keep the HR and Health, Safety and Environment policies up to date, oversee the recruiting, interviewing and hiring of new staff, work with management on strategic planning, and ensure that the office runs smoothly. Working at GRID-Arendal brings a new dimension to my career. It gives me the opportunity to ensure that that our staff can thrive and focus on the important work GRID-Arendal does.

My professional background includes more than 20 years of experience in HR management and administration. Prior to joining GRID-Arendal I have worked as HR Manager in both local and international businesses.

I have a degree in management, economics and administration from the University of Trondheim. My thesis focused on organisational psychology.

When not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, travelling, jogging, reading and solving crossword puzzles.
