Adapting Together, Communities, Wildlife and Climate in Central Asia

Over the past four years, the Central Asian Mammals and Climate Adaptation (CAMCA) project worked with communities, wildlife, and protected areas across Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, and Tajikistan.

By combining local knowledge with science, the project supported climate-resilient livelihoods, restored degraded ecosystems, and strengthened conservation in key landscapes. Through close collaboration with communities and partners, it delivered practical, nature-based solutions that benefit both people and biodiversity.

Watch the animation, available in Russian and English, to learn more about the project’s impacts and results.
