Ruth Blyther from The Nature Conservancy (TNC) on her solution

Ruth Blyther from The Nature Conservancy (TNC) on her blue solution “At the water’s edge: Enhancing coastal resilience in Grenada”. “At the Water’s Edge” addresses the problem of increased coastal erosion and flooding and vulnerability of fishers and coastal communities to climate change impacts on the small island state of Grenada. The project builds social and ecological resilience, with strong community engagement, through the implementation of nature based solutions including the installation of artificial reef structures to attenuate wave energy, restoration of coastal vegetation, and community resilience planning.
