Mating Adelie Penguins (Pygoscelis adeliae), Antarctic Peninsula

Adélie Penguins return to the same breeding site and partner year after year and will recognise their mate's breeding call. They will defend their mate and nesting against neighbours but are generally very social creatures, hunting and travelling in packs called waddles.
