I recently started working with the Marine Environment team after having recently finished my PhD in sustainable coastal development from the University of Bergen. Before embarking on my PhD, I finished my degrees in biology (Bachelors) and environmental management (Masters) in the USA before moving to Rome as a fisheries management consultant with FAO. As an American transplant to Europe and Scandinavia, I enjoy cooking, reading, long walks, exploring new cuisines and places, and cultivating my professional interest in inter- and trans-disciplinary approaches for transformational change to a more sustainable world.
