Polar bear diving after whale cadaver, Svalbard

Even after 2 years in the cold Arctic environment a dead whale still serves as food source for polar bears. They just have to dive to get down to the rotten meat. A known site in Northern Svalbard for tour operators to show polar bears to their clients.
