Communicating Ecosystem-Based Management, SimpleShow Case Studies

These videos were produced as part of a  UN Environment/ GRID- Arendal publication striving to highlight practical examples in the communication of ecosystem-based management. Five case studies were chosen to reflect the diversity of communication objectives and approaches, which could be dependent on factors such as the scale of implementation, geography, entry point, target audience, messages and budget. The parties involved in the case studies shared the lessons learned directly from their experience communicating ecosystem-based management projects, describing the challenges they faced and their recommendations for overcoming them, based both on what they did and what they wish they had done. The goal of this report is to share these lessons learned in a manner that is specific enough to explain their genesis, but general enough to be broadly applicable to other projects.
