Bernardas holds Master’s degree in Environmental Impact Assessment and Management from University of Manchester (United Kingdom), and also has a Bachelor’s degree in Science, Ecology and Environmental Studies from Vilnius University (Lithuania). In UNEP/GRID-Arendal Bernardas is working with the EECCA (Eastern Europe, Central Asia and the Caucasus) and Africa regions, mainly focusing on transboundary water body management.
