GRID-Arendal has developed a synopsis of the Zero draft text of the international legally binding instrument on plastic pollution, including in the marine environment, enabling negotiators and stakeholders to engage with the zero draft text ahead of INC-3 in Nairobi, Kenya and beyond.

This product was developed under the AFRIPAC project: Effective Capacity Building for a Global Plastics Treaty in Africa. The project aims to increase knowledge and collaboration in Cabo Verde, Guinea Bissau, São Tomé and Príncipe, Senegal, and Sierra Leone. Strengthening the negotiation skills of national representatives is key to ensuring that the international, regional, and national legal and policy frameworks relevant to the prevention and management of plastic pollution, including marine litter, are implemented well.

GRID-Arendal a développé un synopsis du avant-projet de texte de l’instrument international juridiquement contraignant sur la pollution plastique, notamment dans le milieu marin, permettant aux négociateurs et aux parties prenantes de s'engager dans le projet de texte zéro avant la CNI-3 à Nairobi, au Kenya, et au-delà.

Ce produit a été développé dans le cadre du projet AFRIPAC : Renforcement efficace des capacités pour un traité mondial sur les plastiques en Afrique. Le projet vise à accroître les connaissances et la collaboration au Cabo Verde, en Guinée Bissau, à São Tomé et Príncipe, au Sénégal et en Sierra Leone.
