medical production and foodstuffs.
The staff consist 168 researchers, including 29
Phds.

State of marine bioresources monitoring in Arctic
seas, studies on Arctic marine ecosystems,
scientific background of and provisions for
regulating commercial fisheriesin the Arctic
according to international fishery treaties and
conventions.

hydrology, ichtyology, inventory of marine

Results o investigations of the institute are being
published in the journnnals of the Russian Academy
