The Meta-data Catalogue was compiled to help members of the CGIAR network to find data available at other CG centres, and to have an overview of spatial data sets in the CG system. Thus far, it contains data set descriptions from the following CG centres: CIAT, CIP, ICLARM, ICRISAT, ILRI, IPGRI, IRRI and WARDA.
The meta-data were compiled in the format of the UNEP House Keeping Tool (HkT) according to information provided by the centres in an Excel spreadsheet format.
