Title (max 80 characters)Rethinking the Top of the World: Arctic Security Public Opinion Survey
Blurb (max 320 characters)This survey, conducted by the Munk School of Global Affairs (University of Toronto) examines opinions on the development of the Arctic regions in the eight Arctic states.

The report shows that the 9.000 respondents to the survey in the Arctic states no longer adhere to the traditional view on the Arctic as an arena of the Cold War. Issues like environmental protection, health care, education and scientific cooperation rank much higher within the concept of security than the military.
