Himalayan Climate Change Adaptation Programme (HICAP) Regional Review and Planning Workshop

13-22 August, 2012 - Kathmandu, Nepal - Lawrence Hislop, Bjorn Alfthan and Riccardo Pravettoni take part in the  Himalayan Climate Change Adaptation Programme (HICAP) Regional Review and Planning Workshop that is hosted by the International Centre for Integrated Mountain Development (ICIMOD).

The workshop is designed to: (1) enhance interactions and understanding among HICAP partners about the programme and their respective roles; (2) review activities carried out by partner organizations and achievements in terms of outputs and outcomes; (3) identify new/potential areas of partnership with existing as well as new partners; and, (4) draft  the workplan for the second half of 2012 until December 2013. The workshop is expected to provide a clear picture of the activities and outputs achieved by the operational partners. It will also provide a framework of collaborative field research that needs to be further carried out jointly by promoters and operational partners in each of the 4 sub-basins.
