26-30 March, 2012 - Dushanbe, Tajikistan - Lawrence Hislop attends the Central Asia Mountain Conference and meets with partners to discuss the Himalaya Climate Adaptation Project (HICAP) and the potential for replication in the Central Asia region.
He will also discuss the production of new publication on sustainable mountain development in the region and conduct a media training workshop for local journalists. Lawrence expects to identify new opportunities for cryosphere work in Central Asia.
