GRID-Arendal hosting UNEP's special advisor on Arctic issues
Svein Tveitdal, former director of GRID-Arendal and UNEP division director, will be co-located with the GRID-Arendal offices in Longum park for one year starting August 1st 2005. Mr Tveitdal will act as the UNEP Executive Director's special advisor on Arctic issues, and will work closely with the GRID-Arendal polar programme.
