GRID-Arendal at the UN climate change meetings in Bali

GRID-Arendal is working at the UNFCCC meetings in Bali with many partners from different parts of the world. Activities include coordinating activities under Many Strong Voices; holding consultations on a draft of UNEP's Indigenous People's policy; and working with CICERO to promote the messages from the UNEP Global Outlook on Ice and Snow.

GRID-Arendal is working at the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC)  meetings in Bali, Indonesia December 3-14, 2007 with many partners from different parts of the world.

Activities include:
  • coordinating activities under the Many Strong Voices programme, a collaboration between peoples from the Arctic and Small Island Developing States on adaptation and communication related to climate change.
  • holding consultations on a draft of UNEP's Indigenous People's policy
  • working with CICERO to promote the messages from the UNEP Global Outlook on Ice and Snow report, which focuses on the impacts climate change is having on the Arctic, Antarctic and glacial regions of the world.
