Twelfth International Scientific Student Conference 'Problems of the Arctic Region' is devoted to scientific, environmental, technical, economic, and social aspects of the development of the Arctic. The conference will be divided into sections “Geology and Geophysics of the Arctic Region”, “Ecology of the North”, “Information Technologies”, “Physical studies”, “Chemistry and Technologies”, “Radiotechnical studies”, “Marine biology”, “Biology and Medicine”, “Social problems”, “Economical problems of Arctic development”.
Suggestions on new topics are welcome. The conference will be introduced by a plenary report on one of burning issues of modern science. At each section conveners will present reports to the participants devoted to important issues of the section topic.
