North Siberian River, Russia
Hardly anywhere else on earth are such large unfragmented natural landscapes existing anymore than in Northern Siberia. Particularly in the treeless tundra regions the ever changing meanders of dynamic rivers make impressive pictures outside an airplane window.
The frozen rivers in winter are used in Russia as important car-transport routes connecting remote settlements. Climate change may shorten the period of this kind of transport connections.
