Located in central Georgia and part of the lesser Caucasus, the Borjomi-Kharagauli National Park is one of the largest in Europe. It covers more than 85,000 hectares of native forest and sub-alpine and alpine meadows, and is home to a number of endemic and relicat species of flora, and endemic species of fauna. Given it's large size, it holds a diversity of geographic and ecological zones.
