GRID-Arendal employee, Mr. Morten Wasstøl, (33), is appointed as political advisor to the norwegian Minister of the Environment Helen Bjørnøy.
The Office of the norwegian Prime Minister has from 1 February appointed Mr. Morten Wasstøl, (33), programme officer, Arendal, as political advisor to Minister of the Environment Helen Bjørnøy. He succeeds Mr. Kjetil Bjørklund, who will leave the post from the same date.
Morten Wasstøl comes from a post as programme officer at GRID-Arendal. He has been member of the Socialist Left Party's board and leader of the party's committee on environment policy since 2005. Mr. Wasstøl is Master of Science in urban and regional development, from the London School of Economics 1999.
