GRID-Arendal is taking part in national consultations about the future of development once the Millennium Development Goals are retired in 2015. The consultations will held in collaboration with a network of national UN-affiliated institutions and will build on the concept of Sustainable
Development Goals that came out of Rio+20.
Through a series of workshops and meetings, the consultation process will engage Norwegian stakeholders in an international discussion about development post-2015. Contributions from each collaborative session will be incorporated into a joint position paper that will be handed over to the Norwegian Minister of Foreign Affairs on October 24, 'UN Day', in 2013.
