Description:
The graphic shows PCB and DDT in Guillemot eggs, Baltic proper (1972-1994). To assess the current contaminant pressure on the common guillemot (Uria aalge) living there, the amount of DDT and PCB in Guillemot eggs were monitored. The results, as shown on graph, demonstrates a dramatic decrease of these toxins in Guillemot eggs since 1972.
