here includes forest, tundra, ice, desert, savannah, steppe, scrubland,
and urban areas. Agricultural land is comprised of cropland,
mixed cropland/pasture, marginal land, and pasture.
In contrast to agricultural
land, domesticated areas are comprised of cropland, pasture,
and urban areas. (See Figure 4.16.) All other areas are considered
non-domesticated. Thus, there is overlap between land classified
as agricultural and land classified as domesticated, but there are
also differences.
