Reinforcing fisheries' governance in Guinea
This project aims to reinforce the fisheries’ governance in Guinea and control IUU fishing activities in its Exclusive Economic Zone.
Working with colleagues at UN Environment, GRID-Arendal organized a group of international experts who took part in a “book spring” in Arendal in May. During this week-long writing marathon, the group gathered in a room and produced draft guidelines. The final product will go through extensive review before being released in early 2018.
